New results on Nyldon words and Nyldon-like sets

چکیده
Grinberg defined Nyldon words as those which cannot be factorized into a sequence of lexicographically nondecreasing smaller words. He was inspired by Lyndon words, the same way except with "nondecreasing" replaced "nonincreasing." Charlier, Philibert, and Stipulanti proved that, like any word has unique factorization They also show that form right Lazard set, equivalently, Hall set. In this paper, we provide new proof related to set theory resolve several questions Charlier et al. particular, prove fixed length circular code, result on factorizing powers investigate procedure for generating We these results generalize class sets, are an example, name "Nyldon-like sets."

Some results on maximal open sets
In this paper, the notion of maximal m-open set is introduced and itsproperties are investigated. Some results about existence of maximal m-open setsare given. Moreover, the relations between maximal m-open sets in an m-spaceand maximal open sets in the corresponding generated topology are considered. Our results are supported by examples and counterexamples.
متن کاملSeveral new results based on the study of distance measures of intuitionistic fuzzy sets
It is doubtless that intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) theory plays an increasingly important role in solving the problems under uncertain situation. As one of the most critical members in the theory, distance measure is widely used in many aspects. Nevertheless, it is a pity that part of the existing distance measures has some drawbacks in practical significance and accuracy. To make up for their...
متن کاملCerny-like problems for finite sets of words
This paper situates itself in the theory of variable length codes and of finite automata where the concepts of completeness and synchronization play a central role. In this theoretical setting, we investigate the problem of finding upper bounds to the minimal length of synchronizing and incompletable words of a finite language X in terms of the length of the words of X. This problem is related ...
متن کاملSome results on functionally convex sets in real Banach spaces
We use of two notions functionally convex (briefly, F--convex) and functionally closed (briefly, F--closed) in functional analysis and obtain more results. We show that if $lbrace A_{alpha} rbrace _{alpha in I}$ is a family $F$--convex subsets with non empty intersection of a Banach space $X$, then $bigcup_{alphain I}A_{alpha}$ is F--convex. Moreover, we introduce new definition o...
متن کاملTwo results on words
The study of combinatorial patterns of words has raised great interest since the early 20th century. In this thesis we primarily study two combinatorial patterns. The first pattern is “abelian k-th power free” and the second one is “representability of a set of words of equal length”. In Chapter 1 we give a brief introduction to these two combinatorial patterns. In Section 2.1 we present a proo...
